What is power flushing?
Power flushing is an effective way of removing sludge and debris in your pipework and can have excellent results in restoring and protecting your heating system. We usually advise power flushing as the most effective method of cleaning the system water before installing a new boiler, as required by most boiler manufacturers.
We use a Norstrom Proflush power flushing machine combined with a Magnacleanse unit to circulate cleaning chemicals through each radiator in turn to break down the sludge and make it water-mobile. We then clear each radiator with fresh water before circulating a corrosion protector. After we perform a power-flush, we verify the cleanliness and corrosion protector levels using Adey ProCheck digital water test.
